John Paul White is setting out on the road in early 2017! The former Civil Wars member will tour the western United States (and Canada) in January.

Beginning on Jan. 6 in New Orleans, La., White will spend the first month of the new year playing in 10 different cities to promote his newest solo project, Beulah. His tour will take him to Texas, California and more; a complete list of stops is below.

White wasn’t exactly trying to write an album when Beulah came about. Instead of writing music, he had co-founded Single Lock Records and was producing albums for other artists.

“Honestly, I tried to avoid [my song ideas], but then I realized the only way I was going to get rid of them was if I wrote them down," White explains. "I got my phone out, and I’d sing these little bits of melody, then put it away and move on. Eventually I got to a place where it was a roar in my head, and that pi--ed me off ... I went and wrote probably eight songs in three days. It was like turning on a faucet.”

Beulah is available on JohnPaulWhite.comiTunes and Amazon. White's complete tour calendar is available on his website as well.
