Jewel Is Ready for Baby!

Now that she's no longer 'Dancing with the Stars,' due to knee injuries, singer/songwriter Jewel has more time to think about other things she's like to accomplish. And uppermost in her mind these days is the dream of motherhood.

Nashville Gab reports that the singer and husband Ty Murray -- who's still dancing on the show -- had initially planned the baby-making for once the competition was over.

"We were gonna wait until after the show, but I guess now I don't have to wait," Jewel reports. "We're gonna try."

When Jewel does become a mommy, she'll no doubt rock her baby to sleep with some sweet, soothing music. And the little one might be wondering if it's live or recorded. On May 5, the singer will release 'Lullaby,' an 11-track CD with seven original lullabies written by Jewel, plus four traditional tunes. The album is available for pre-order at Jewel's website, and each pre-ordered disc comes autographed, with a free download of the singer's version of 'Brahm's Lullaby.'

Nashville Gab, by the way, has picked out a 'DWTS'-inspired name for baby Murray once he or she arrives: Twinkle Toes.
