Rising country star Jerrod Niemann has revealed the details of his upcoming wedding to his fiancee, Morgan Petek.

The couple plan to marry in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on Oct. 12. In lieu of wedding gifts, they are asking for donations to Free the Music USA, a group that is "dedicated to enhancing lives, with a focus on children, through the beauty of giving music and music instruments."

Together since 2005, they have made philanthropy a cornerstone of their relationship, previously teaming up with ACM Lifting Lives, Rising Star Outreach, PS22, Refugee and Immigrant Students Empowered and Songs for Sound, with a focus on helping children.

"We can't think of a better way to honor our upcoming nuptials than to combine the two things that we love the most: music and helping others," the couple tells People magazine.

Niemann says Petek's penchant for giving is one of the things he loves about her the most.

"It's so funny, the little things we can all get upset about," he observes. "That's why it's just really cool to see somebody that really thinks of others and wants to make people happy."

He adds that they'd love to have a family of their own.

"Starting a family and making her my wife -- that's all part of the deal!" he says.

Niemann has just released 'Buzz Back Girl,' the latest single from his current album, 'High Noon.' He will embark on his Get Your Buzz Back Tour on Oct. 24.
