Jason Aldean Plans on ‘Hiding’ for the Rest of 2011

Jason Aldean plans on spending the first part of 2012 connecting with his fans all across America, as he takes his My Kinda Party to several cities all over the country. Just don't look for the 'Tattoos On This Town' singer to be found anywhere but home throughout the rest of this year.

"I'm probably gonna go into hiding for about the next month and a-half," he admits to CMT. "I got two little girls at home -- an 8-year-old and a 4-year-old -- so this is my time of the year where I get to go home and be dad and kinda just hang out with them."

Not that the six-time ACA winner is complaining about his hectic travel schedule in the new year. "I've been waiting for this kind of thing to happen since I was 14," he admits to The Boot. "This is the tour I've been waiting to have and hoping it would be successful. You can't help but get a little jacked up when you go out there and see 22,000 people screaming and hollering for you."

The multi-platinum selling singer will also spend some time in the studio in the new year, putting the finishing touches on his follow-up album to his No. 1 CD, 'My Kinda Party.' The 34-year-old says that the process of churning out new tunes gets easier, thanks to the help of Nashville's songwriting community.

"This is our fourth album, and people know what it is we do, so they're writing songs for us," Jason explains to The Boot. "We'll wait and see what else comes in."

Jason will kick off the 2012 leg of his My Kinda Party tour on January 20 in Greenville, S.C., with fellow Georgia natives Luke Bryan and Lauren Alaina. He can also be found in Nashville in June, where he has been announced as a performer, along with Carrie Underwood and the Band Perry, for the 2012 CMA Music Fest, which will be held in Music City June 7 - 10, 2012.
