Jason Aldean might love baseball almost as much as he loves music, so when he got to step into a uniform for his beloved Atlanta Braves recently for a day of filming on the GAC show, 'Day Jobs,' the entertainer was pretty much in heaven.

Jason suited up with the team and took part in a day of spring training for the episode, which airs April 4, and he went through some of the team paces for the cameras with players including Chipper Jones, Brian McCann, and Dan Uggla. Wearing a No. 9 uniform, the country superstar reportedly took some grounders at first base, then hit the batting cage and did some base running drills with the team, apparently impressing Jones with his baseball skills.

"Not bad," said Jones to the Associated Press about his teammate for the day. "He's a little more athletic than we're used to seeing from our normal celebs."

Apparently Jason spent way too much grueling time in the real day job he held before being famous -- as a Pepsi delivery man -- so when the network offered him a chance to spend a day in his ultimate dream job instead, he jumped at the chance.

"I was a delivery guy for Pepsi," he tells the AP. "That was not cool. I was not going back and doing my old job. I worked too hard to not have to do that anymore. So they said, 'What about if we do kind of a dream job deal with you, where you get to do something with the Braves?' I was like, 'Now that I would be into.'"

While he had an amazing time during his day with the team, Jason admits he won't be trading his microphone for a bat anytime soon after watching the real boys of summer do their thing up close and personal.

"It almost looks like they are barely swinging and the ball just jumps off their bats. But that's why they do this for a living and why I don't. It's a little intimidating getting up there hitting in front of those guys."

Jason will no doubt add this day to his list of most memorable career highlights, being the diehard Braves fan that he is. He told The Boot awhile back that if he could pick just one sporting event to participate in as an artist, it would involve his favorite team, of course.

"Out of any sports event I could be part of, it would be the World Series," he tells The Boot. "I'm a huge baseball fan, and grew up playing baseball and it's always been my favorite sport. And I think in a perfect world, singing the National Anthem at Game 7 of the World Series where the Braves win, that would be it - I don't know that it gets any better than that, I'll take that!"
