The JaneDear girls have reportedly called it quits. Tennessee's Herald Chronicle broke the news Monday (Aug. 13), reporting that organizers of the 8th International Dogwood Festival had tapped Steel Magnolia to replace the duo following its unexpected dissolution.

MSN also mentioned the breakup and reported that band member Susie Brown is working with producer James Stroud on a solo album. She has already posted a solo single called "Sassy" on YouTube. Meanwhile, her apparently former partner, Danelle Leverett, has rechristened herself Nelly Joy, launched a Facebook page and recorded a single called "Trampoline."

The Boot is still awaiting comment from the duo's record label, Warner Music Nashville, on the breakup reports. Warner's website no longer has JaneDear girls listed on its artist roster.

If the JaneDear girls have, in fact, gone their separate ways, they'll leave behind a legacy that includes one studio album -- a self-titled effort produced by John Rich -- and the hits "Wildflower" and "Shotgun Girl."
