Ever wondered what it looks like on a country star's tour bus? Rising country star Jackie Lee is giving fans a behind-the-scenes ... er, inside-the-bus peek at his home away from home; press play on the video above, part of the Bus Invaders series, premiering exclusively on The Boot.

Filmed before a recent tour stop in Chicago, at which Lee was opening for Dan + Shay, Lee's tour bus tour is a front-to-back look at how he lives on the road. In addition to the tour bus usuals -- lounge space, kitchen, bunks -- Lee's bus features a makeshift back-of-the-bus studio, helpful given that the singer-songwriter has been writing on the road.

Throughout his Bus Invaders episode, Lee shares a couple pointers for living life on the road as a touring country artist: Firstly, if catering offers you free food, "you take it!" ... even if it sits in your fridge a little too long. Also, although Lee's tour bus has a bathroom, "you cannot poop on the bus;" if you do, "there are serious consequences that you have to face."

Lee is gaining traction with his single "Getting Over You," after debuting on the country music scene back in 2014. He is playing a number of country music festivals this summer and working on his first full-length project.
