Jack Ingram, Matthew McConaughey Event to Make Texas-Sized Impact on Kids’ Lives

Jack Ingram has teamed up with his buddies and fellow Austin, Texas residents Matthew McConaughey and Mack Brownare, head football coach at the University of Texas, to help underprivileged kids across the country. The three will host their inaugural Mack, Jack and McConaughey event in Austin on April 11-12, 2013, benefiting various children's charities.

"Our passion to empower kids is why we joined together to create this important effort," the philanthropic celebs say in a statement. "This is a great opportunity for everyone in Texas to make a big impact across the entire country."
