Darius Rucker, Dierks Bentley and More Added to 2015 iHeartRadio Country Festival
Darius Rucker and Dierks Bentley have been added to the lineup for iHeartRadio's 2015 country music festival, which is set to place on May 2 in Austin, Texas.
The announcement also adds Little Big Town, Justin Moore, the Band Perry, Sam Hunt and Tyler Farr to the previously announced lineup of Tim McGraw, Brantley Gilbert, Rascal Flatts and Brad Paisley.
“This is truly a night of country’s all-stars” says John Sykes, president of iHeartMedia Entertainment Enterprises. “Every single one of these artists can headline an arena or stadium on their own, but on this night they will share the stage to celebrate the amazing music on our iHeartRadio country stations and the iHeartRadio app.”
The festival will be hosted by country radio personality Bobby Bones and will be streamed live via Yahoo Live, as well as broadcast live on iHeartMedia's country stations and on iHeartRadio.com. On May 27, at 9PM ET, the event will be televised on NBC.
The 2015 iHeartRadio Country Festival marks the second time that the company has held a country festival separate from their multi-genre iHeart Radio Music Festival. Last year, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, Jake Owen, Hunter Hayes and Dan + Shay took the stage at the inaugural event.
"Country music has never been bigger in America, and we are bringing the marquis names together live on one stage for one night," Sykes says. "It will be a once-in-a-lifetime event for fans that night in Austin, as well as millions nationally on air, online on Yahoo and on NBC."
Ticket prices for the 2015 iHeartRadio Country Festival range from $30 to $375 and are available for purchase here.
