Haley & Michaels are premiering the lyric video for their upbeat new song "Taking Off" exclusively for readers of The Boot. Press play above to hear the new track from the husband-and-wife country duo.

Together, Shannon Haley and Ryan Michaels share plenty of vocal chemistry on "Taking Off," a mid-tempo ballad produced by Zach Abend and mixed by Chris Lorde-Alge. The song is the duo's debut single to country radio; it will impact officially on Jan. 28.

Fans of Little Big Town and Lady Antebellum will find a lot to love in this duo's pop-influenced, radio-friendly sound. Haley & Michaels were first introduced to each other in a Nashville coffee shop in 2011, and they eventually got married, in 2015. They co-wrote "Taking Off" with Abend and Corey Crowder.

Earlier this year, Haley & Michaels inked a deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing's Hickory Records imprint, and are partnered with Reviver Records, which means that fans can likely expect a big year from this up-and-coming duo in 2019. "Taking Off" is their first single since 2015's "Giving It All (to You).

"Taking Off" is now available for download and streaming via Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora and Amazon Music Unlimited. Fans can keep up with them via HaleyAndMichaels.com.
