At the second annual Nashville Songwriter Awards, George Strait will receive the 2019 President's Keystone Award. According to MusicRow, the honor will be presented to Strait in recognition of his "contributions toward the betterment of all songwriters." At the ceremony, which is set for Sept. 17 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Reba McEntire, Sam Hunt, David Lee Murphy, Michael Ray and more artists are set to perform. Tickets for the 2019 Nashville Songwriter Awards go on sale on July 19 at 10AM CT.

Emmylou Harris, Luke Combs, Sheryl Crow and Vince Gill will headline the 2019 All for the Hall charity show. According to a press release, the benefit is set for Sept. 17 at the Novo in Los Angeles' LA Live complex, with proceeds benefiting the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's music education programs. Tickets for the benefit go on sale on July 19 at 10AM PT via TheNovoDTLA.com.

The Voice is up for a Primetime Emmy Award in 2019! The TV singing competition, which features Blake Shelton as a judge, is nominated in the Best Reality / Competition Series category alongside The Amazing Race, Top Chef, Nailed It!, RuPaul's Drag Race and American Ninja Warrior. The winners of the 71st annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be announced on Sept. 22.

The Gatlin Brothers have designed a new pair of kicks to benefit the families of fallen soldiers. The shoes were designed in conjunction with the Colorado-based shoe company Newton Running, and proceeds from sales will benefit the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), which provides mental health services, camps for kids and other services for the families of fallen soldiers. Not surprisingly, the shoes are red, white, and blue, and have already sold out once.

After a seven-year hiatus, Chris Knight has announced plans to release a new album. Titled Almost Daylight, the record will be Knight's ninth full-length release; it features vocals from Lee Ann Womack along with a guest spot from John Prine, who performs his 1973 song "Mexican Home." Almost Daylight is set for release on Oct. 11 via Thirty Tigers.
