Garth Brooks Eyeing Las Vegas Gig?

Reba McEntire did it. Elvis Presley did it. And now ... Garth? Country stars have been booking extended gigs in Las Vegas, well, since there were country stars. And now the rumor mill is working overtime with news that Garth Brooks could be next.

While the news is far from official, ExtraTV reports that sources are saying the semi-retired entertainer is working out a deal to perform for 16 weeks at the lavish Encore Hotel and Casino.

The Encore Theater was the home of celebrity impersonator Danny Gans, who performed there until his death in May of this year. Michael Jackson reportedly turned down an offer to perform there last year.
