Faith Hill dances back into the limelight with her first video in roughly five years. While the lyrics of "American Heart" spotlight one woman's story of resilience, the timely performance-based clip represents the unity of the entire nation. (Watch below.)

"The concept and the idea for this comes from a lyric found in the song: 'It bleeds, it scars, but it shines when times get hard,'" director Trey Fanjoy explains in the behind-the-scenes video. "So we have created a 15-foot -- well, it's over 15 feet, actually -- and over 17 feet wide, illuminated 'American Heart' full of red, white and blue stars and stripes. There's a really special metaphor found in all of it, and each of the bulbs represents a different part of our country and a different spirit in our nation. Together, they form something that is bigger than all of us."

The smokin' hot songstress is joined by the talented, 10-year-old T.J. Jones for a Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers-inspired dance number in the video. The pair may have spent hours practicing their choreography, but their execution comes off playful and natural.

Here's hoping Faith will incorporate her giant heart -- and maybe even the young Mr. Jones -- into the upcoming Las Vegas run with husband Tim McGraw. The pair, who just celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary, will play a series of intimate concerts at the Venetian Hotel and Casino, starting Dec. 7 and running through April 27, 2013. Tickets can be purchased here.
