Eric Church was recently announced as the subject of a new Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum exhibit, coming this fall and running through early 2016 -- but that's not the only big thing already on Church's calendar for next year. The country star has just been announced as the very first headliner for WE Fest 2016!

Church will rock the Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, Minn., during the 34th annual festival, which is set to take place Aug. 4-6. Whether he brings his full band and tears the WE Fest stage apart like he's been doing on his The Outsiders World Tour or decides to do something acoustic (we can dream!), Church's set is going to be one that WE Fest-goers will be talking about all weekend long. Perhaps he'll do a little something special to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the release of his debut album, Sinners Like Me?

In the (almost) decade since his first album, which has since been certified gold, Church has grown from a country outsider (pun intended) to a full-blown country superstar. His most recent record, 2014's The Outsiders, was one of only two country albums to go platinum last year. He's got four No. 1 and 10 Top 10 singles under his belt, along with one additional gold-certified album (2009's Carolina) and one additional platinum-certified disc (2011's Chief). Church has also earned himself a bevy of awards nods, including seven Grammy nominations.

Tickets and camping passes for WE Fest 2016 are on sale now on the festival's website. More acts and information will be announced in the coming months.
