Eric Church was one of the first performers revealed for the 2015 Grammy Awards, and he did not disappoint. He kicked off his first-ever performance at the iconic event with 'Give Me Back My Hometown,' taking fans to (Eric) church with his fantastic performance.

Church was introduced by Keith Urban, who playfully remarked that his buddy's wife was hoping to make it through the performance before going into labor, as she's due any day.

The singer looked snazzy in all black, with his trademark aviators setting the rock vibe. As Church rocked the stage, a large screen with emotive scenes of revolution and liberty played, with riot footage running backward during the performance. The song ended with the words "truth," "solidarity," "home" and "liberty" sitting on the screen.

The country rocker was nominated for four Grammy Awards this year, which included Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song, both for ‘Give Me Back My Hometown;’ Best Country Duo / Group Performance, for ‘Raise ‘Em Up’ with Urban (from Urban’s album ‘Fuse’); and Best Country Album, for ‘The Outsiders.’

Church's Grammy-nominated record has spawned two No. 1 hits thus far, with 'Talladega' recently shooting to the top of the charts. He's gearing up for the next leg of his 2015 Outsiders World Tour, and judging from his Grammy performance, Church fans will have an absolutely entertaining show waiting for them.
