Hannah Blaylock, who left the band Edens Edge earlier this year, has signed a solo deal with Big Deal Music.

Blaylock had been on the country music scene with former bandmates Dean Berner and Cherrill Green since they joined Big Machine Label Group in 2010, and debuted their self-titled album in 2012. The band were known for their unique blend of bluegrass and traditionalism.

“I don't know the future -- but I do know singing is my life and country music is my soul and its fans are the best fans there is,” Blaylock said via Twitter after her split from Edens Edge was announced. “I wish Dean and Cherrill the most success, happiness, & fulfillment in the world. The times we have shared 2gether I hold dear to my heart.”

We now know that the future holds a solo project from Blaylock, though no release date has been set.

Earlier this year, Big Deal Music cut an administrative deal with BMG, hoping to bring industry executives together under the same roof.
