Dolly Parton Talks Perez, Miley and ‘Barbie’

Perez Hilton continually expresses his love for country icon Dolly Parton, but he's also not shy to express his dislike for Dolly's goddaughter, teen superstar Miley Cyrus. So, when The Boot recently premiered Dolly's 'Backwoods Barbie' video, it came as a bit of a surprise to see the notorious gossiper make a cameo. Did Dolly have to give Perez a little piece of her mind before she let him in the video?

"Well, I did not realize that!" Dolly told The Boot, when we asked her response to the blogger's negative opinion of Miley. "What's he been saying?"

Dolly explains that since the video was being filmed in Perez's hometown of Los Angeles, he stopped by the shoot. "We'd invited him down just to watch it because he is a fan, and he's a good guy," she says.

"Every time I'm around doing things, he'll come by," added Dolly, who recently released a collectors' edition of her latest album. "And if I know he's in the area, I'll run by and say hi."

The always sweet Dolly is staying neutral about Perez's frequent slams against her goddaughter, talking only about her positive experiences with him. "He's in the video, and I love it and that's cool!"
