The Pigeon Forge, Tenn., attraction formerly known as the Lumberjack Feud Dinner Theater now has a new name reflecting its new owner, Dolly Parton.

The country icon purchased the dinner theater in June of 2015 and recently announced that the remodeled attraction will be called Dolly Parton's Lumberjack Adventure Dinner & Show.

"Since its opening in June 2011, Lumberjack Feud has been well accepted by the guests," Parton says. "We believe it has a great future here, and I’m excited to get started!”

In 2016, Parton will open her newest family-focused venue, which celebrates the spirit of the Appalachian people who lived off the land in logging and milling towns. The theater is currently being renovated, giving the interior and exterior of the facility a face lift, and the nearby former Regency Inn will be removed for more parking and better visibility.

“I’m truly excited to be working on a new show for families to enjoy while they are in town,” Parton reflects. “We did a lot of work to come up with the name of the new show, and I think we found the perfect fit."

The new-and-improved dinner show is scheduled to launch in May -- just one more reminder that the buxom blonde has no plans to retire.

"This will be a fun, creative project for all of us as we continue to develop Pigeon Forge into a world-class family destination," the legendary artist adds.

Where once she was a young girl in poverty, Parton is now expanding her famous theme park, Dollywood, with a whopping $300 million expansion that will add approximately 2,500 jobs to the area. Dollywood celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2015.
