During his final interview with departing deejay Gerry House on Nashville's WSIX radio, Dierks Bentley dropped the surprise announcement that he and wife, Cassidy, are expecting another daughter! Dierks revealed back in July that they were expecting their second child in December. The country singer first said they were keeping the gender a surprise, but the expectant parents obviously just couldn't wait to find out! The new, pink bundle of joy will be joining her two-year-old sister, Evie.

Gerry House, who has been a long time fixture on Nashville radio with his 'Gerry House and the House Foundation' show, had announced his retirement on air, September 3, 2010, that he would bring his long running radio show to an end by December 15, 2010. He has worked for WSIX-AM since 1975.

Dierks received even more good news this month, when he received three Grammy Awards nominations -- twice for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals ('Bad Angel' and 'Pride'), and also for Best Country Album ('Up On the Ridge'). The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast on CBS at 8:00 PM ET, February 13, 2011.
