Darryl Worley Doing Well After Back Surgery

Darryl Worley wants concerned fans to know he's just fine. The singer had surgery to repair a ruptured disc in his back, and took to his blog to give everyone an update on his condition.

"Just wanted to let everybody know that I'm doing good after the surgery," he says. "I had a discectomy and cervical fusion. Thank you for your prayers for me and my family."

Darryl also used the opportunity to give fans an update on his brother, Barry, who was recently involved in a car accident, and his mother, who broke her leg around the same time. "Barry is recovering fast from his crash and Mom's leg is doing well. They both have about three months of recovery time so Dad has his hands full."

Darryl also adds that recently performed for the first time since his surgery. "Everything went well but this has been a little more challenging than I thought. Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers and I hope to see you somewhere out there soon. No more pain in the neck!"
