Darius Rucker Knows It’s a Woman’s World

Darius RuckerDarius Rucker has an amazing relationship with his wife, Beth, even though he has been on the road for numerous years, while she has been back home taking care of their children in Charleston, S.C.

The lifestyle works for the pair, which is why Darius says is one of the reasons why they have been happily married for nearly 10 years. "I know it's her world, and I'm trying to figure out how to make it better," says the singer. "That's my job. I'm going to be gone for two weeks, here's some flowers. [laughs] I can honestly say we're getting along better now. We're closer than we've ever been, and it's just because we know each other now and we accept each other for who we are, and we know I have to go on the road. There's no other job I can do, period. This is what I'm skilled to do."

Darius, whose recent No. 1 single, 'Alright,' was inspired by his marriage to Beth, will not be home for long. He will be in Chicago at Joe's Sports Bar on Thursday, May 27 and rejoins Brad Paisley's H20 World Tour in Kansas City, Mo., on Friday, May 28.
