Craig Morgan has released a lyric video for his current single, "When I'm Gone." The song is from his upcoming new album.

Lines like, "When I’m gone, tell them I laughed more than I shed tears / When I’m gone, tell them I stared down all my fears / That I danced on the wire, and I walked through the fire / That I lived every moment ’til that moment retired / So my life goes on, goes on when I’m gone,” flash across the screen in the clip, paired with footage of Morgan living life to the fullest: ice fishing, skydiving, moments from his days in the Army.

Shots of the country artist performing and pictures from his wedding more than 25 years ago to his wife, Karen, are also included in the video. Press play above to watch it.

""When I’m Gone" is one of those songs where, the first time I heard it, I knew I had to record it because it’s so exactly me,” Morgan says of the song, written by Justin Ebach and Steven Dale Jones. “It’s no secret I’ve got an adventurous side. I’ve been a rodeo clown, I’ve raced sled dogs in the Arctic, and I’ve broken more bones than I can count. But more than anything else, I want to be remembered as the guy who lived his life to the fullest with and for my family and friends. That’s what I want my legacy to be.”

"When I'm Gone" is the debut single from Morgan's new record, which will be released early next year on Black River Entertainment.
