Court Yard Hounds Web Chat to Feature Patty Griffin
Court Yard Hounds (sisters Martie Maguire and Emily Robison) will host a live web chat tonight (Tuesday, March 8), beginning at 8:30 PM (ET). The pair will be joined by critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Patty Griffin, who's been touring with Robert Plant as part of his Band of Joy.
To submit your questions for tonight's web chat, leave them in the comments section below, or shoot us a message via our Facebook page or our Twitter page! You can also send in your questions by visiting the Court Yard Hounds' official website.
During the sisters' web chat in January, they discussed a "top-secret project" with their Dixie Chicks bandmate Natalie Maines, and with no topic seemingly off-limits, the pair also handled questions regarding reality shows and other musical projects. In addition, Emily questioned similarities she had surmised between Toby Keith's recently released single 'Bullets in the Gun' and Robert Earl Keen's 'The Road Goes on Forever.'
The duo continue to work on new music, which naturally has been another hot topic of discussion during previous web chats. The live chats have also included performances of both Court Yard Hounds songs and Dixie Chicks favorites. Patty Griffin is the writer of the Chicks' 'Top of the World' and 'Truth No. 2,' from the 2002 Grammy-winning album, 'Home.'
The Court Yard Hounds self-titled debut album was released in May 2010.
