The 2011 Golden Globe nominations were announced last week, and one film that is noticeably absent from the list, aside from a Best Song nod, is Gwyneth Paltrow and Tim McGraw's 'Country Strong.' While fans may have been disappointed that the movie and its two stars weren't recognized, the pair say it really doesn't bother them in the least.

"What are you going to do? You can't control the way things go," Gwyneth tells Access Hollywood. "I'm just very grateful. I've had such a good time. It's been a really amazing autumn and amazing year. I'll probably go back home and hibernate for awhile."

The Oscar-winning actress adds she understands the snub. "I think they put the movie in the drama category, instead of the musical category, so I guess it was a good year for lots of people," she explains.

Her on-screen husband also says his level of success isn't measured by trophies. "It's not disappointing at all," Tim adds. "It's fantastic to think even anybody would think [it should have won]. I just want to do good work and work with great people and find great material, just like what I do in music. I just want to find the best stuff that I can find and be a part of it."

Tim has nothing but praise for his beautiful co-star. "It was awesome," he says of his experience working with Gwyneth. "She's been in this business for a long time ... she's at the top of her game. She's one of these people that, I think there's nobody in the film business that wouldn't want to work with her. She's one of the best, and she makes you better when you're with her."

Both Gwyneth and Tim are already eying future projects. Gwyneth is set to appear in a new movie, 'Contagion,' co-starring Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Matt Damon. Meanwhile, Tim, in addition to focusing on new music on a new label, will appear in 'Safe House,' starring Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds.

Country music, meanwhile, was represented with Golden Globe nominations for superstar Carrie Underwood and her frequent songwriting partner, Hillary Lindsey. The pair received a nod for 'There's a Place for Us,' which they penned (and which Carrie performs) for 'The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and Hillary scored another mention for a song she penned for 'Country Strong.' 'Country Strong' hits theaters in Los Angeles and Nashville on December 22, and nationwide on January 7.
