Cody Belew ‘Baby, Get Out’ Video: ‘The Voice’ Contestant Duets With Steel Magnolia’s Meghan Linsey
"The Voice" finalist Cody Belew has wasted no time in readying music since wrapping Season 3 of the show late last year. The Nashville resident has been writing and recording original material, including his new single "Baby, Get Out," which features Steel Magnolia singer Meghan Linsey. The two co-wrote the tune with producer Tyler Cain and co-star in the song's video. (Watch below.)
"I'm so excited about this song and video," Cody says of the song that depicts the highs and lows of a relationship that's gone on too long. "It came together organically with Meghan, Tyler and I. I couldn't be more proud of what we've created, and I can't wait for the fans to hear it."
In the chorus, the pair lament the love that's become one-sided and give their relationship an ultimatum, singing, "If you're not in it / Baby, get out / These games you been playing / are breaking me down / It takes two, oh there ain't no doubt / If you're not in it / Baby, get out."
