Chris Young is being honored by the National YoungArts Foundation at their 2015 Backyard Ball.

Young was a YoungArts award winner in 2003 and U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts, and he will be recognized as a 2015 Arison Alumni Honoree, along with 1999 alum Josh Groban. Visual artist Jeff Koons will also be lauded at the event as an Arison Award Honoree.

The evening will honor the 2015 YoungArts winners, a group of 786 youth who stand out in the fields of literary, visual, design and performance arts. The gala features prominent artists, leaders, philanthropists and celebrities and serves as the organization's largest annual fundraiser.

"The YoungArts Backyard Ball exemplifies all that YoungArts works to accomplish ... and honors Jeff Koons, Josh Groban and Chris Young, three remarkable individuals who serve as inspirations for emerging artists everywhere," says Paul T. Lehr, National YoungArts Foundation president and CEO. "I look forward to welcoming guests to our home on the YoungArts campus and acknowledging the hard work and dedication of all of these passionate artists."
