Chris Young is looking forward to performing a stripped-down version of his song "Losing Sleep" at the 2018 ACM Awards. When Young takes the stage at Sunday night's (April 15) show, his vocals will only be joined by two guitars, bringing an intimacy to the No. 1 hit -- but that also makes the country star a little nervous.

"If I mess up, you guys will really know. You will very much know," Young tells WYRK's Liz Mantel and Clay Moden, who are in Las Vegas, Nev., for the awards. "It's just a different kind of performance. It's one of those things that I'm really going to enjoy, and it's a different version of the song than what people have heard."

In addition to performing "Losing Sleep," Young is also nominated in the Male Vocalist of the Year category. It's a tough field this year: He's competing against Jason Aldean, Chris Stapleton, Keith Urban and Thomas Rhett. It's his second nod in the category.

The 2018 ACM Awards are set to air live on CBS beginning at 8PM ET. The ceremony will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena; Reba McEntire will be hosting the show.
