Coachella has announced its 2016 lineup, and Chris Stapleton is one of the acts set to perform at the Indio, Calif., festival.

Founded in 1999, Coachella takes place annually at the Empire Polo Club. Stapleton is part of a massively talented lineup for the event's 2016 iteration, which includes the reunion of the founding members of Guns N' Roses -- their first performances together in two decades -- and LCD Soundsystem's return after a five-year hiatus. Coachella 2016 is scheduled for April 15-17 and 22-24; Stapleton will perform on April 17 and 24.t

Also performing at Coachella in 2016 are Los Angeles-based Americana group Lord Huron, who are scheduled to take the stage on April 15 and 22. In addition, Sufjan Stevens, M83, Ice Cube, Grimes, A$AP Rocky, Run the Jewels, Sia, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Wolf Alice, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Alessia Cara, Rae Sremmurd, Rhye and many, many more have been booked for the event. The complete lineup, as well as ticketing information, can be found on Coachella's website.

Stapleton skyrocketed to fame in 2015, and his Album of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year wins at the 2015 CMA Awards helped catapult his debut solo album Traveller to No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart.

“It’s unbelievable,” the singer-songwriter reflects of his CMA Awards successes. “This is an unbelievable thing, and I’m not going to take it lightly.”

In addition to his Coachella appearances, Stapleton has another exciting event on the horizon: He will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on Jan. 16.
