Coming off of his big night at the 2015 CMA Awards, Chris Stapleton has reached the top of the charts.

Stapleton's album Traveller has re-entered the all-genre Billboard 200 -- and this time, the disc is sitting pretty at No. 1. It is the first debut country disc to hit No. 1 on the chart in four years.

Named Album of the Year at the 2015 CMA Awards, Traveller was released in May and originally peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard 200, but thanks to that new trophy, as well as ones for New Artist of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year, Stapleton's debut solo release is experiencing major success. The record sold 153,428 units and 177,199 equivalent album sales in the past week -- that's more copies sold since the CMAs than in the entire time since its release -- and has earned the fourth-biggest sales week for any country album this year.

Up until the 2015 CMA Awards, Stapleton was, for the most part, flying under the radar and was absent from the radio, but he continued to do what he loved.

“It’s unbelievable,” he reflects of his CMA Awards successes. “This is an unbelievable thing, and I’m not going to take it lightly."

Traveller is available for purchase on Amazon and iTunes.
