Singer Chelsea Field will join 'Vampire Diaries' star Ian Somerhalder in the actor's hometown of Covington, La., on Saturday, November 13 for Unleashed! Bash on the Bayou, a Cajun-themed event to benefit homeless animals at St. Tammany Humane Society, a no-kill animal shelter in Covington.

"Teaming with Ian for this event is something that's very near and dear to my heart," says Chelsea. "Animals are a big part of my life and to be able to give a little back with my music is the least I can do!"

On November 9, Chelsea's 'Love's Never Leavin',' written by 'American Idol' finalist Katharine McPhee with singer-songwriter Richard Marx and producer Trey Bruce, will be available for download on iTunes, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting St. Tammany.

Advance tickets for Unleashed! Bash on the Bayou, which kicks off at 7:00 PM at the Castine Center in Covington, are available for $60 each, at the St. Tammany Humane Society website. They'll be priced $75 each at the door.

In addition to her love for animals and a burgeoning country music career, Chelsea spent much of her college career playing volleyball. But she says she always knew where her path would lead.

"I never thought I'd be a professional volleyball player or anything, but I wanted to do that for a little bit to see what I really wanted," Chelsea tells The Boot. "I was so homesick for the singing thing that I decided to move to Nashville. I moved here when I was 19."

'Love's Never Leavin'' will be available beginning tomorrow (November 9).
