Carrie Underwood
is making a return to reality television with an upcoming spot as a guest judge on Lifetime's "Project Runway."

The reality competition show pits hopeful fashion designers against each other with the goal of showing their designs at New York Fashion Week and winning the contest. Underwood will join regular judges, Nina Garcia and Zac Posen, during the fashion week finale, which tapes Friday, Sept. 11. The episode is set to air Nov. 5 on Lifetime.

While in New York, Underwood will also be presenting the fall collection of her Calia by Carrie Underwood line of activewear on Sept. 10.

The new mom also recently announced the release of her fifth studio album, Storyteller, which will hit stores Oct. 23. The project's first single, "Smoke Break," has already started breaking records, with the highest one-week add total in the history of trade publication Country Aircheck.

“The song itself is one of those story songs I feel like everybody can relate to, about how life is so hectic,” she says of the new track. “And it’s so nice when — if and when — you actually get to step away for a second. We all need that, and we all need that time to ourselves and to get to take a break.”

Storyteller is currently available for pre-order on Amazon.
