With their marriage barely a year old, Carrie Underwood and her husband, Nashville Predators player Mike Fisher, are already facing the inevitable question of whether they'll be adding children to their family. The answer? Yes ... just not anytime soon.

"I'm good on the kid front right now," she insists (quote via E! Online). "Mike and I are both so busy. We want to do what's best for us and our future children. Anytime within the next few years would just be bad."

Before they do begin adding to their brood, the happy couple will have to agree on how many children they want to have. "I say two, but he grew up in a family of four," notes 28-year-old Carrie. "I just don't know if I can do that. I would probably want to pull my hair out."

Still, when the Oklahoma native does decide it's time to expand their family, she knows who she'll look to for guidance. "I know it's possible to be a great mother and to be on the road. You don't have to sacrifice that much," Carrie explains. "I see people like Martina [McBride] do it, and Faith [Hill] do it. I know it's a possibility. I just maybe need to sit down with them and say, 'How DO you do it?'"

For now, the multi-platinum-selling singer is taking her second year of wedded bliss day by day, having fun with defying the marriage pessimists. "Everyone says the first month is the hardest, or the fourth month or the eighth month," she tells People magazine. "We're just enjoying it."

The CMA Female Vocalist of the Year nominee is now juggling her home life with putting the finishing touches on her upcoming album. She is also undoubtedly preparing for her role as co-host for the upcoming CMA Awards, where she will take the stage for the fourth year with good friend, and 'Remind Me' duet partner, Brad Paisley.

The 45th Annual CMA Awards will air live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on November 9, 2011 at 8:00 PM ET on ABC.
