Carrie Underwood Kicks Off Super Bowl XLIX With ‘Waiting All Day for a Super Bowl Fight’ [WATCH]

She may not have been there in person, but Carrie Underwood still got to kick off the 2015 Super Bowl with a special version of her 'Sunday Night Football' theme song.

'Waiting All Day for a Super Bowl Fight,' a big game-themed version of 'Waiting All Day for Sunday Night,' featured Underwood, clad in a short, glittering dress, belting out lyrics like, "All right, hold on tight, it’s finally here / Super Bowl Sunday’s kicking into high gear ... The Patriots and Seahawks in the final showdown / The whole world’s a’rocking; time to crank up the sound," into a sparkling microphone.

The accompanying video montage included the songstress performing for a cheering crowd, "XLIX" lit up in the background, interspersed with New England and Seattle highlights and shots of the team's players hyping up the crowd.

Underwood's had a busy week. She debuted the video for her new single, ‘Little Toy Guns,’ on Friday (Jan. 30).
