Danny Gokey'American Idol' finalist Danny Gokey is a big fan of Minnesota Vikings' quarterback Brett Favre, who spent most of his career at the helm of the Green Bay Packers.

Danny is feeling pretty disappointed after the Vikings lost to the New Orleans Saints in Sunday's NFC Championship game, and he has a few choice words for the Saints. "New Orleans, you're a very respectful team, but man, you were killing them on the field," he says. "That was so disrespectful in my book."

The country newcomer did admit that it was a great game and New Orleans "did a really good job."

Being the fan of the veteran quarterback, though, Danny is sad that Favre will not be taking part in this year's Super Bowl on Feb. 7. "He's broken every record," explains Danny. "i wanted him to finish out on that high note. I think I notice Brett Favre is an emotional guy like myself. And so, that's not a good thing because I think he's not looking at what he's done. He's looking at what he didn't do, and that's a problem ... I just hope he has the ability to just look at the situation differently."

Danny is beginning to make his ascent on the country charts with his debut single, 'My Best Days Are Ahead of Me," and he'll follow that up with his entire album, 'My Best Days,' in stores March 2.
