Brett Eldredge has established the Brett Eldredge Family Foundation, in support of pediatric cancer research and children affected by cancer, and he recently made the foundation's first donation. During the 2017 holiday season, Eldredge raised more than $60,000 through An Evening With Brett Eldredge, a concert that featured the artist performing Christmas classics, and he's donated those proceeds to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

The members of Little Big Town will be honored at the 2018 Grammys on the Hill Awards, set for April 18 in Washington, DC. The band will receive a trophy in recognition of their advocacy for music education and support of the Recording Academy's MusiCares foundation; they'll also perform at the ceremony. In addition to LBT's honor, California congresswoman Judy Chu will be recognized for her longtime support of songwriters and musicians, as will Georgia representative Doug Collins; both Chu and Collins serve on the Congressional Creative Rights Caucus.

Son Volt fans will soon be able to score copies of the band's 2005 album Okemah and the Melody of Riot on vinyl for the first time ever. The band will roll out a number of new reissues in the spring, including a deluxe reissue of their classic album The Search in all formats on April 6. Okemah and the Melody of Riot will be a double LP, pressed into opaque red vinyl, and will be available on Record Store Day 2018 (April 21).

Danielle Bradbery, Lauren Alaina, Luke Combs and more artists are scheduled to appear at the 2018 iHeartCountry Festival's Daytime Village. Dylan Scott and Brett Young are also included in the lineup of free outdoor performances at Austin, Texas' Frank Erwin Center, set for the same day (May 5) that Luke Bryan, Maren Morris, Keith Urban, Jon Pardi and more will perform on the iHeartCountry Festival's main stage at night. Entrance to the the Daytime Village shows is free, but fans can score seats behind the stage for $20 at TexasBoxOffice.com.

Ty Herndon and Cody Alan will host the 2018 Concert for Love and Acceptance, an event held in conjunction with GLAAD to advance issues important to the LGBTQ community. “We’re proud to once again lock arms with our friends at GLAAD to lend our voice and support to an event that champions love and acceptance through the power of music,” CMT General Manager Frank Tanki says in a statement. The concert, planned for June 7 at Nashville's Wildhorse Saloon, will also feature performances from Cassadee Pope, Terri Clark, Michael Ray, Calum Scott and Brandon Stansell. Tickets for the event can be purchased at GLAAD.org.
