Brad Paisley's 'Perfect Storm' has been named the most-played song at country radio.

According to Mediabase, the tune was played 7,648 times between Dec. 29 and Jan. 4, pushing it above the previous leader, Tim McGraw's 'Shotgun Rider.'

'Perfect Storm' also took the top spot on Billboard's Country Airplay chart, Paisley's first single to hit No. 1 there since 2011's duet with Carrie Underwood, 'Remind Me.' Those three years mark his longest period without a chart-topping song.

The song comes off of Paisley's No. 1 album 'Moonshine in the Trunk,' which is available on iTunes and Amazon. The singer got his fans involved with the 'Perfect Storm' video by asking them to submit photos of themselves to be used during the clip.

“I stood in the pouring rain and sang this song over and over in slow motion for you. I hope you love it," Paisley said when debuting the music video. "I’m really happy with it. I love the video."
