Blake Shelton holds the distinction of being the most frequent country artist to appear on the hit TV show, 'Chelsea Lately,' hosted by comedian Chelsea Handler. The singer returned to the late-night chat fest earlier this week, to talk about his upcoming gig as co-host for this weekend's Academy of Country Music Awards, as well as his new reality competition show, 'The Voice.' The rapport between the two celebrities kept the audience in laughter during the entire segment. Here's why:

Chelsea: You know you have to get your act together for this weekend, when you're hosting with Reba [McEntire], because you know she's not going to let you mess around for these ACMs? AMCs? Which one is the movie theater? Or one's the network? The American Movie Channel. These are the American Country Music Awards?

Blake: Would you let me talk? It's the Academy of Country Music Awards. With Reba. [applause] Thanks for showing a little bit of respect for country music.

Chelsea: I respect country music. I can't believe they didn't ask me to participate. I love country music! I came to your concert! I met Miranda [Lambert], your fiancé, backstage. I like her. I'm glad she came, because I don't want her to think there's anything going on between us. There's a lot of sexual energy coming from you to me. I know because I can see it in your eyes. I don't want her to think I'm that type of girl, because I'm not.

Blake: Right.

Chelsea: Here's a serious question, because I know this awards ceremony is in Vegas, and you know that you drink like a fish. Are you going to be able to stay sober long enough to get through the awards ceremony? Because I don't think Reba's the type of girl who's gonna want to deal with your nonsense.

Blake: I think I'm better when I drink. You know how it is. You're drunk right now. I'm drunk right now. You learn to do these things in an alcoholic haze.

Chelsea: I like that you drink a lot. And if you follow him on Twitter -- if you don't, you should, because it's a mess -- @BlakeShelton, where he talks about getting high and drinking all the time, so if you have children you should have them follow him, as well.

Blake is nominated in two categories for the ACM Awards, including Male Vocalist of the Year.
