To celebrate almost 40 years together, the Bellamy Brothers will take their show all over the world in 2014.

"We head over to Sri Lanka and India next week," David Bellamy reveals. "We've toured in over 50 countries throughout our career but performing in these two regions is new territory for us."

In addition to more than 150 dates in the United States, the pair will also head to Brazil, Switzerland, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Australia and New Caledonia before wrapping up their tour in November.

"This is shaping up to be one of our biggest international years to date," Howard Bellamy adds. "Good thing we're used to the jet lag. We actually have a new song we're recording now called 'Jet Lag Journey!'"

The brothers will also release new music while overseas. They already have plans to collaborate with Brazilian rock star Eduardo Araújo and Swiss rock sensation Gola, who they previously recorded 'BB&G: The Greatest Hits Sessions' with in 2010. That album earned them a No. 1 spot on the Swiss Music Chart,  selling in excess of two million units.

In addition, the siblings plan to release a three-song EP and video this spring. The project will serve as a teaser for their upcoming 40th anniversary album -- a two-disc set that will include 15 new songs and 15 No. 1 hits. That record will be available in the spring of 2015.

The Bellamy Brothers have already earned a respectable global following. Their 2013 album, ‘Bellamy Brothers & Friends: Across the Sea' -- which included collaborations with Kris KristoffersonCrystal Gayle, the Bacon Brothers and Carlene Carter, among others -- stayed at No. 1 on the album sales chart in Switzerland for four weeks last year.

The Bellamy Brothers have two shows in Texas this weekend before they play in India and Sri Lanka next week. See all of their upcoming shows here.
