Alan Jackson fans down under are in for a 'Good Time' next year. The country superstar has announced that he'll be taking his roadshow to Australia for the first time ever in his 20-plus-year career. Alan will play a total of four shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Queensland starting March 4, 2011. Miranda Lambert will also join Alan on the bill as the tour's special international guest. It will be the first time for both Alan and Miranda to perform in that part of the world.

"I've always heard that it's just beautiful down there," Alan says, anticipating the four-day Aussie run. 'Everyone I know that's been has loved it. [They] said the people down there are really nice and welcome people from the US so generously. I know I've got a lot of fans down there and I know they like my kind of music -- so I think it'll be a fun trip!"

The Land of Oz has been a popular touring destination among Alan's fellow country stars recently. Tim McGraw took his Southern Voice tour to Australia just last week, with wife Faith Hill and daughters Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey in tow. Tim made headlines during his Sydney tour stop on September 21 when he asked Faith to join him on stage for a surprise duet. It was Faith's birthday and the power couple wowed fans as they gave a surprise performance of their hit, 'I Need You', and sealed it with a kiss.

Other country stars who have performed in Australia over the past few years include Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Brooks & Dunn, Jack Ingram, Dierks Bentley and Australia native Keith Urban.

Tickets for Alan's premiere Australian tour go on sale Friday, October 8. Click here for a list of tour dates.
