This week's spurs are all about OMGs over the ACMs!

The Academy Of Country Music Award nominees are out and Miranda Lambert was nominated more times than anyone. Everyone seems happy about Miranda's success, with the possible exception of Rascal Flatts, who were not nominated. Joe Don Rooney is blaming Miranda, as she was even nominated for Top Vocal Group of the Year.

Personally, I thought there was a better chance that Charlie Sheen might actually date a woman he doesn't pay for as opposed to the Rascals not being nominated for Top Vocal Group. What's up with the snub?

The big show is in April in Las Vegas with Reba and Blake Shelton hosting. In the spirit of Las Vegas, the producers have added some Vegas-style elements to the broadcast that we can all look forward to:

Look for LeAnn Rimes to sing her hit 'Blue' with the Blue Man Group doing BGVs while playing their PVCs.

Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins are scheduled to create some buzz with a topless performance of 'Hillbilly Bone.'

And Reba has been practicing singing her new single 'If I Were a Boy' with Chastity Bono.

Reba's old friend Ronnie Dunn will be going solo on the show, performing his new single 'Bleed Red.' Word is that Kix Brooks will introduce the song on stage and announce its current chart position on American Country Countdown.

Remember: what happens in Vegas ... gets televised in Vegas.

And one other award note: Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum were both nominated for International Album Of The Year for the upcoming Canadian Juno Awards alongside Eminem, Ke$ha and Katy Perry. For those of you scratching your heads wondering, we asked Canadian Terri Clark what "Juno" meant. Her reply: "Juno, I'm not sure."

That's the Spur this week, kiddies. Write if you find work in the music industry.
