Carrie Underwood, Kane Brown, Maren Morris, Luke Combs and more are nominated for Country Artist of 2019 at the 2019 E! People's Choice Awards. Country Artist of 2019 is the event's sole country music category, but American Idol and The Voice are nominated in the Competition Show of 2019 category; Taylor Swift is up for Female Artist of 2019 and Social Celebrity of 2019; and Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus' "Old Town Road" is nominated for Song of 2019. Fans can vote in all of the awards show's 40-plus categories now. The 2019 E! People's Choice Awards will air on E! on Nov. 10.

For the chart week dated Sept. 7, Runaway June are at No. 10 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart with their single "Buy My Own Drinks." This feat, per Billboard, makes the country trio the first all-female trio or group to break into the Top 10 on the chart since August of 2005, with "Don't Worry 'Bout a Thing" by SheDaisy hit No. 7; it also makes them only the fourth all-female trio or group to make it onto the Country Airplay Top 10 since the chart's inception in January of 1990. "Buy My Own Drinks" is Runaway June's first Top 10 song.

Jamey Johnson, Lukas Nelson, Warren Haynes and more will help celebrate the anniversary of the Band's iconic Thanksgiving 1976 farewell concert at San Francisco's Winterland Ballroom -- dubbed the Last Waltz -- with a 12-city tour. The Last Waltz Tour 2019: A Celebration of the Band's Historic Farewell Concert will begin in Port Chester, N.Y., on Nov. 5 and run through Nov. 21. Haynes and Don Was will lead Johnson, Nelson, John Medeski, Terence Higgins and Mark Mullins & the Levee Horns featuring the original horn arrangements of Allen Toussaint in performing each night, while Cyril Neville, Dave Malone and Bob Margolin will appear throughout the tour. Mitchell Tenpenny will perform at the 2019 Canadian Country Music Association Awards on Sunday (Sept. 8), joining his girlfriend Meghan Patrick onstage. Lindsay Ell, Morgan Wallen, Pam Tillis and more are also scheduled to perform during the event, which is being hosted by Dallas Smith and Billy Ray Cyrus. The 2019 CCMA Awards will air live on TV, on radio and online throughout Canada, and will stream in Twitter for those outside of the country.
