Brandi Carlile, Kacey Musgraves and John Prine are all up for prominent awards at the 2019 Americana Honors & Awards ceremony, the Americana Music Association announced on Tuesday (May 14). This year's nominees list that is dominated by female artists and features an all-female ensemble in the running for Artist of the Year.

In addition to Carlile, Musgraves and Prine, Lori McKenna, Yola and others earned nods at the 2019 Americana Honors & Awards. Notably absent from the list is 2018's big winner, Jason Isbell.

A complete list of 2019 Americana Honors & Awards nominees is below. The ceremony is set to take place at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Sept. 11 during AmericanaFest 2019. The week-long conference and music festival is scheduled for Sept. 10-15 at various venues throughout Nashville. A full list of performances, as well as conference event details, is forthcoming.
