‘Burning Man’ Is 2019’s ACM Music Event of the Year
Congratulations to Dierks Bentley and Brothers Osborne: Their collaboration "Burning Man" has won Music Event of the Year at the 2019 ACM Awards!
Bentley and the Brothers Osborne's ACM victory was announced via press release on Sunday afternoon (April 7), ahead of the annual awards ceremony. The trophy in the Music Event of the Year category is awarded to both the artists involved and the producer(s) and record label(s).
"Burning Man" is Bentley's red-hot collaboration with Brothers Osborne; it was produced by Ross Copperman, Jon Randal Stewart and Arturo Buenahora Jr. The sweeping anthem has earned Bentley and brothers John and TJ Osborne numerous nominations, and lends its title to Bentley's current tour.
"Burning Man" beat out four other big collaborations to win Music Event of the Year. The other nominees in the category were "Drowns the Whiskey" by Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert; "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" by David Lee Murphy and Kenny Chesney; Dan + Shay and Kelly Clarkson's "Keeping Score;" and Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha's "Meant to Be."
The 2019 ACM Awards will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The show will air live on CBS beginning at 8PM ET.
