Chris Stapleton's From A Room, Volume 1 has won Album of the Year at the 2018 ACM Awards, joining a list of recent winners that includes Miranda Lambert's The Weight of These Wings and PlatinumChris Stapleton's Traveller, Kacey MusgravesSame Trailer Different Park and many more. But, the award wasn't even the biggest news of the day for Stapleton.

As Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush of Sugarland announced Stapleton as the winner, Reba McEntire appeared to accept the award, explaining that he was in Nashville with his wife, Morgane, who was expecting twins. She congratulated the singer on the win and added, "That's the second biggest news," then told the audience that they just found out -- the twins had been born!

"Those little rascals came a little bit early. Twin boys," McEntire said as Nettles and Bush's jaws dropped and the audience broke into applause. She continued, "Chris, congratulations to you, Morgane and big brother and sister -- and congratulations on winning this award. And, happy birthday, Chris."

Stapleton's Traveller won Album of the Year in 2016, and since everything he releases seems to turn to gold (or double platinum), it's only logical that From A Room, Volume 1 is the 2018 ACM Album of the Year. After all, this album also garnered a trophy for Best Country Album at both the Grammys and the CMA Awards.

From A Room, Volume 1's first single, "Either Way," and second single, "Broken Halos," also won at the Grammys for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song, respectively. And, from a chart perspective, From A Room: Volume 1 was the best-selling country album of 2017.
