Taylor Swift's tradition of tackling cover tunes continues! Over the weekend, the superstar entertainer performed two sold-out shows, one in Lubbock, Texas on Oct. 14 and the other in Oklahoma City, Oct. 15, offering her rendition of songs from two powerhouse groups in country music, the Dixie Chicks and Rascal Flatts.

While in Texas, Taylor treated the crowd to an acoustic version of 'Wide Open Spaces,' the Chicks' 1998 No. 1 single. Taylor previously covered 'Cowboy Take Me Away,' serenading Dixie Chicks member Martie Maguire who was in attendance that night. (Watch both fan footage videos below).

"There's this guy named Joe Don Rooney who's a good friend of mine and he's from Oklahoma," Taylor told the people of Joe Don's hometown, right before launching into the trio's power ballad, 'What Hurts the Most.' She further gushed about her fellow entertainers, saying, "Rascal Flatts have been amazing and wonderful to me."

Taylor's next Speak Now world tour date is scheduled for Oct. 20 in San Diego. Click here to view tour dates and ticket information for the wildly popular concert extravaganza.
