The Teen Choice Awards aren't until August 7, but Taylor Swift is already a winner. The 21-year-old country superstar has been announced as this year's recipient of the 'Ultimate Choice' award, the event's highest honor.

Given for her "extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry," Taylor's win comes after yet another whirlwind year in her illustrious career that saw her break sales records with her latest album, 'Speak Now,' and claim the ACM's highest honor, Entertainer of the Year, among countless other milestones. Fans are encouraged to share what makes Taylor their 'ultimate choice' by tweeting a message about their favorite singer to @TeenChoiceGirl. The best tweets will be featured during the awards ceremony.

Taylor leads the pack of country singers at the Teen Choice Awards with six nominations. She's up for Female Artist, Female Country Artist, Country Single ('Mean'), Country Love Song ('Mine'), Best Break-Up Song ('Back to December') and Red Carpet Fashion Icon: Female.

Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler and Jennette McCurdy join Taylor in the Female Country Artist category. In the Male Country category, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan are all vying for the trophy, with Luke and Blake also up for Best Country Single, for 'Country Girl (Shake It for Me)' and 'Honey Bee,' respectively. Other nominees in that category include the Band Perry's 'If I Die Young' and Lady Antebellum's 'Just a Kiss.' Lady A and the Band Perry are also nominated in the Country Group category, along with Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts and Steel Magnolia.

'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' movie leads all Teen Choice Awards nominations with 12. See a full list of nominees here.

Hosted by 'The Big Bang Theory' actress Kaley Cuoco, the Teen Choice Awards will air live August 7 on FOX.
