Big & Rich fans, rejoice! The irrepressible, much-beloved duo (John Rich and Big Kenny) will be reuniting for the 2011 Xtreme Muzik tour this summer, alongside a few of their good buddies.

"BIG$RICH$Gretchen Wilson tour w/Cowboy Troy and 2FootFred BOOKING UP NOW for summer/fall 2011!! Confirmed dates posted at www.johnrich.com!!" John announced on his Twitter page.

It's been three years since the 'Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)' duo went on hiatus, while Big Kenny (Alphin) recovered from a pre-existing neck injury. Between then and now, John released a solo project, 2009's 'Son of a Preacher Man,' which produced the Top 15 hit, 'Shuttin' Detroit Down.' That same year, Big Kenny released his own solo CD, 'The Quiet Times of a Rock and Roll Farm Boy.'

Over the past three years, Big Kenny has thrown himself heart and soul into several charitable causes, including a journey to earthquake-ravaged Haiti to search for a friend, then staying for weeks to assist with search and rescue. He also held a benefit concert for Music Saves Mountains to help save the Appalachians from mountain top removal coal mining, and he flew to Africa to help serve meals to children, so he could see for himself the work of the U.N. food program there. And to top it all of, he then rappelled down the side of a 24-story building in Salt Lake City, Utah, to help raise money for Special Olympics.

Since 2007, John has hosted three seasons of CMT's 'Gone Country' reality show, which paired aspiring songwriters with Nashville songwriters, and also served as a judge on NBC's 'Nashville Star' in 2008. He has also been famously involved with politics, releasing the campaign song, 'Raisin' McCain' in support of John McCain's 2008 presidential run, and endorsing and hosting parties in his Nashville home for 2010 candidate for Governor of Tennessee, Congressman Zach Wamp.

John is currently competing on Donald Trump's reality television show, NBC's 'The Celebrity Apprentice.

Tour dates are lining up for Big & Rich's 2011 Xtreme Muzik tour -- which will include other Muzik Mafia family members, Gretchen Wilson, Cowboy Troy and Two Foot Fred. Fans can check Big & Rich's website for tour dates and further updates.
