Why We Like Them: Cheyenne, Carson and Will Medder are the sons of Joy and Jule Medders -- the latter a songwriter whose tunes have been recorded by Diamond Rio and Pam Tillis, among others. While attending the same college in Arkansas, and each traveling their own individual musical path, the three met up with piano player Joshua Stauter. The quartet forged a musical kinship, crafting material that's melodically simple and sweet but lyrically dense and compelling. It's country-rock with a delicate touch.
