Dolly Parton's classic 1973 album, 'My Tennessee Mountain Home,' featured a song titled 'Dr. Robert F. Thomas.' The tune was a tribute to the doctor who "delivered more than half the babies in those mountains," including the future superstar herself.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Dr. Robert F. Thomas Foundation's annual Evening of Elegance fundraiser in Sevierville, Tenn., and Dolly, who's always thinking big, has something really big planned -- a chance to spend some time with her at her Tennessee Mountain Home.

On Aug. 15, attendees of the fundraiser will have the opportunity to bid on a package which will grant unprecedented access to the entertainer and her East Tennessee residence. Dolly's even throwing in a country-style breakfast which she'll prepare and serve for the top bidder and a guest.

Called '5 to 9,' a play on Dolly's song, film and Broadway show, the event begins with the winner (and up to 10 of their guests) arriving at Dolly's home at 5:00 PM for a private tour of the singer's residence, followed by a barbecue on the grounds, complete with live bluegrass music. The winner and a guest will then spend the night in Dolly's guest cottage, located next door to the Tennessee Mountain Home. And at 9:00 AM, breakfast is served!

"I've always known it would take something very near and dear to my heart to invite folks into my sanctuary, my Tennessee Mountain Home," says Dolly. "I can't think of a better reason than to help continue the good work of Dr. Thomas by improving health care here in Sevier County. I can't wait to treat these folks to a 'Backwoods Barbie-Q!'"

The not-for-profit Dr. Robert F. Thomas Foundation was founded in 1983 to help expand the range and quality of health care services available in Sevier County, and to help raise funds for a medical center scheduled to open in 2010.

The Evening of Elegance event will take place at the Mills Auditorium in Gatlinburg, Tenn., on Aug. 15, beginning at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $200 per person and may be purchased by contacting Amy Kingery at (865) 429-6175.
