Taylor Swift

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Taylor Swift and her family -- parents Scott and Andrea, and brother Austin -- moved to Nashville, Tenn., when Swift was 14 years old. She signed a publishing deal with Sony/ATV shortly after their arrival, becoming the youngest songwriter ever hired by the company; the budding songstress also signed an artist development deal with RCA Records, before signing with Big Machine. After releasing four multi-platinum country albums, three of which went to No. 1, Swift moved to pop music with the 2014 release of '1989.' Swift, who has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, has won the Country Music Association's Pinnacle Award, the American Music Awards' Dick Clark Award for Excellence and Billboard's Woman of the Year Award (twice), among many others.
